The request

Two-body orbital mechanics lab with Kepler solver

Read the full request

Build a self-contained educational browser app in this empty project: an interactive two-body orbital mechanics lab. Render a central star, an elliptical orbit, and one moving planet with Canvas or SVG. Provide labeled keyboard-accessible controls for eccentricity (0 to 0.7), orbit size, simulation speed, pause/play, and reset. Advance orbital position using a deterministic Kepler-equation calculation rather than moving at uniform angle; display current star distance plus periapsis and apoapsis in consistent arbitrary units. Explain the simplified model and its limits in the UI and README. Include automated math tests for circular orbit, periapsis, apoapsis, and changing eccentricity. The app must run locally without external assets, services, accounts, or API keys. Do not modify mgtf/atoma.

The journey

  1. Read the requestTurned it into a list of things it would have to prove before calling the work done.
  2. Did the workPlanned the pieces, built them and checked the result as it went.
  3. Sent back by the final reviewThe last check did not accept the first result, and said what was missing.
  4. CorrectedThe missing parts were fixed and the work was checked again.
  5. Delivered5 files handed over.
