The request

Sonic identity audio for fictional botanical garden

Read the full request

Compose an original sonic identity for a fictional botanical garden's visitor installations. Deliver welcome.wav (exactly3.6s), transition.wav (exactly1.2s), and canopy.wav (exactly8.0s), all stereo PCM16 WAV at48000Hz, plus cue_sheet.csv, sonic_identity.md and audio_measurements.json. Create a coherent warm, airy family based on an original harmonic palette (for example352Hz and simple consonant ratios) with different melodic/rhythmic shapes for welcome, transition and a contemplative canopy cue. Use evolving envelopes, delicate harmonic texture and controlled stereo width; produce actual finished audio assets. Use no sampled copyrighted recordings, voices or external assets. All files must be non-silent and comfortably audible, peak at most -3dBFS, each channel absolute normalized DC offset below0.001, and smooth starts/ends without abrupt waveform jumps; signal in first/last20ms should taper close tozero. Cue sheet documents filenames, exact intended durations, note/texture structure and installation use; identity document explains the creative rationale and appropriate playback levels without claiming measured listener studies. Independently measure final WAV header format, exact frame counts, per-channel peaks/RMS/DC and boundary samples from the delivered bytes; store those actual observations in audio_measurements.json and explain any normalization. Ensure the three cues have audibly differentiated arrangements with a common timbral identity. Final package consists of these six media/document/data files. Use English and clearly label all invented organizations, data and scenarios as fictional demonstration material. Deliver the specified non-application format.

The journey

  1. Read the requestTurned it into a list of things it would have to prove before calling the work done.
  2. Did the workPlanned the pieces, built them and checked the result as it went.
  3. Sent back by the final reviewThe last check did not accept the first result, and said what was missing.
  4. CorrectedThe missing parts were fixed and the work was checked again.
  5. Delivered6 files handed over.
