Signal Orchard custom 5×7 bitmap font with BDF parser and specimen

Design an original compact 5 by 7 bitmap display font called Signal Orchard. Deliver a valid BDF font covering exactly forty glyphs: A-Z, 0-9, period, comma, hyphen and question mark. Consistent six-pixel horizontal advance. Easily confused O/0 and I/1 must be visibly distinct; all forty glyph bitmaps must be unique. Include an SVG specimen sheet, editable glyph source and a dependency-free BDF parser/checker verifying encodings, dimensions, row lengths, allowed bitmap bits and uniqueness. Render specimen and sample labels from delivered BDF glyph data rather than system fonts. Show style coherence as well as legibility. Record verification results. Deliver English materials, original content and offline reproducible checks. The artifact is the product; no web application or external service. Make reasonable reversible design choices independently.
